Who is Supporting the MOD Squad?

The MOD Squad is funded in part through a grant from the Health Resources & Services Administration of the Department of Health and Human Services. The grant is studying how best to support families at the time they consider the option to donate. It is also determining whether MOD Squad support has an effect on the decision to donate. Previous research has shown that when families choose donation, they obtain important benefits through the gift of life. Support during the decision-making process gives families the opportunity to know the difference the gift of life can make.
