the first
episode of Pudgy the fish,
introduced in the Prologue to Contemplation: Intimacy In A
Distant World.
Pudgy is a lovable Bahamian fish that lives in the waters of the Islands
with his family and friends and experiences all of life's
lessons, pleasant and unpleasant, from an insightful and compassionate
spiritual point of view.
Through Pudgy's
day-to-day episodes and interactions with his friends, both animal and
human, the reader or viewer (for later multimedia versions) of these
children's stories will find themselves in the midst of a story that
will naturally generate a warm discussion and teaching experience
between Parent and Child. Many of the stories will have their origin in
or be suggested by the content appearing in noted Christian
Psychotherapist and Bahamian, Dr. David F. Allen's landmark trilogy of
books that discusses the healing of our wounded hearts through
spirituality. The trilogy is comprised of three books that have already
been published: In Search Of The Heart (1993), Shattering The
Gods Within (1997) and Contemplation: Intimacy In A Distant World
(2004). The first episode that introduces Pudgy can be found in the
Prologue to Contemplation: Intimacy In A Distant World.
All the
settings of the Pudgy stories will take place in the Bahamas and
surrounding waters. Most, if not all, of the music will be Bahamian or
Caribbean.
Pudgy as he
exists today was created and copyrighted by Dr. David F. Allen, renowned
