Frank Minaya discussed with Special Assistant to the Prime Minister, Dr. Elliston Rhaming, Commissioner of The Bahamas Prison Reform Commission, and Christine Ta, Director of Habitat for Humanity's Prison Partnership Program, cooperative efforts between HFH and Her Majesty's Prison (HMP). Mr. Minaya also had an opportunity to meet with Dr. Rhaming to discuss plans for moving the HMP Cultural Art Therapy Programme, initiated by the Bahamian American Partnership in the late 1990's, to the new HMP Technical Vocational Training Centre. |

Produced by Frank Minaya, 'Banana Boat Beat' was the very first full-length feature film ever created in The Bahamas, and Mr. Minaya was able to forward several rare film clips of the film to Ms. Vanderpool. | ||
