With education at the forefront of his priorities for the Dominican Republic, Dr. Leonel Fernández, President of the Dominican Republic, is in full support of developing Samaná College, the first study abroad college to be located in Samaná, Dominican Republic.

Samaná College and FUNGLODE will be working closely to develop reciprocal educational consortium agreements between the Dominican Republic, The Bahamas, the United States and other countries seeking to support new study abroad initiatives, and provide Bahamian, Dominican and American students with an impressive range of study abroad opportunities in each of the participating countries.
