| GFDD Supports Development of Samaná College |
|
Following Columbia University's conference: "Dominican-American Relations: Building Bridges for Development" at which former President of the Dominican Republic, Dr. Leonel Fernández, was the Keynote Speaker, the Global Foundation of Democracy and Development (GFDD), announced their support of the development of Samaná College in the Dominican Republic. The GFDD also announced the formation of their International Education Program (IEP) which will facilitate study abroad and internship programs developed in cooperation with U.S. and Bahamian colleges and universities.
